They are total scammers.
I tried to return an item, someone signed for the package, but the package was returned to me.
I’ll have my credit card company deal with them.
DO NOT buy from them.

Very good shipping and delivery time
The interior is lined probably well enough to not even need socks but for the cost, I want them to last as long as possible.

Is Lord+Taylor a scam or a legit company?
Lord & Taylor was reputable until they were purchased by Le Tote in the Fall of 2019. The store and website have gone downhill in quality and customer service since that purchase. Customer service is now based in the Philippines for L&T and Le Tote. They are impossible to deal with. In my personal experience they have committed fraud by not honoring their published return policy and are as good as criminals for accepting a return of merchandise AND keeping my money. I am continuing to fight and now contacting the Division of Consumer Affairs. I already have an open case against them with the Better Business Bureau

In its day as "Lord and Taylor's" this store was the gold standard of department stores. An alternative would have been Saks Fifth Avenue, but that always seemed a little nouveau riche to us. Bonwit Teller was another elite store... but more haute couture in style. Lord and Taylor's in its day was just the total package for shopping for the discerning buying class of public.

Q:
Why does Lord and Taylor put a double and triple block hold on funds out of your bank account for items purchased??? This is NOT good business practices. ONLY the amount that was purchased should be put in preauthorization mode. These are funds that cannot be spent. They need to figure out a different eCommerce method! This appears to be very fraudulent.
I did not have that experience so I am unsure although I'm not surprised
